Frequently Asked Questions
What is counselling?
Counselling is a talking therapy that involves a trained therapist listening to you and helping you find ways to deal with emotional issues.
During your sessions, you'll be encouraged to talk about your feelings and emotions with a me, and in return I will listen and support you without judging or criticising.
I can help you gain a better understanding of your feelings and thought processes, and find your own solutions to problems.
Can I book an Initial phone call?
Yes, you can book a telephone call to discuss how I can help you. Send me an email or leave me a voicemail and I will get back to you with a time and day that I will call you back.
How many sessions will I need?
As each individual is unique so are their problems. Some may get what they need from therapy in a few sessions and others may need long term therapy. A person-centred approach is understanding that each person will work on their life challenges at their own pace.
Can you work with children?
Yes, I do work with children, teens and adults.
If your questions haven't been answered, contact me directly and I will endeavour to get back to you within 24 hours. Sue
